Thanks Dawn for adding my "MISERY" scenic image to your favourites. You chose a shot of the kitchen where Paul Sheldon finds the cache of horded drugs. Not having a lot of space to have a separate full kitchen and wanting to avoid a big scenic change we devised a disappearing wall concept using shear fabric and cleaver lighting change. The effect worked like magic. The real challenge was the trick of appearing to chop off Paul's foot with an axe in a live performance and no we did not cast an amputee for the part. Oh the crazy things we do for theatre.
Well it was convincing nonetheless! Great job!
